Valkyrie Family Financial Counseling was born from both professional experience and personal life. After more than a decade in corporate finance—supporting large organizations, leading teams, and helping businesses plan for complex financial futures—I stepped away to raise and homeschool my children. That season opened my eyes to the real impact financial stress has on families, and how empowering it can be to gain clarity and confidence.

I am pursuing my Master of Science in Family Financial Planning, hold an MBA in Accounting, and am an AFC® candidate, combining formal education with hands-on experience to provide practical, judgment-free guidance. My husband, a retired and disabled Air Force veteran, and I have navigated life transitions and benefits together, which deepened my understanding of the unique challenges families face.
